How to Use

The ARC™ cold therapy wrap works by delivering targeted cooling to alleviate pain and accelerate recovery effectively. Simply freeze the CryoDrive™ for 4 hours, then insert it into the insulation case. Turn it on with a push of a button and have 30-minute therapy or continuous use.

For those seeking guidance on using the ARC™ cold therapy wrap effectively, we cover some commonly asked operational questions to help you get the most out of comfort, temperature, and application.

Uneven cooling with the ARC™ cold therapy wrap, like cold spots or varying temperatures, often indicates improper wrapping or temperature settings. Ensure the wrap is applied evenly and securely for consistent cooling.

If you notice uneven cooling, you must check if the wrap is not folded or bunched. This prevents thermal transfer. Also, confirm that the temperature is set correctly and at an appropriate range for treatment.

Furthermore, there should also be a diligent inspection exercise in place to check the wrap for excessive damage or unnecessary wear. Being aware of the wraps integrity will assist in preventing uneven cooling, and guarantee effective uniform treatment.

If you find that your ARC™ cold therapy wrap will not power on, start by making sure the device is properly connected to an outlet. Check to see that all connections are secure and intact.

Next, check to see that the power switch or button is placed in the “on” position. In order to reset the device, simply turn it off and back on again.

If the device does not power on after checking the power switch’s position, please inspect the power cord and connections (the adapter) for any visible damage. If the device does not function properly after the previous items have been checked, you may need to reach out to customer support regarding the power issue.

If the ARC™ cold therapy wrap is not staying in place or secure, first determine that it is properly wrapped evenly and securely on the affected area and adjust the tightness as necessary.

Then, look to see if any barriers or folds in the ARC™ cold therapy wrap may be moving causing the wrap to slip. Smooth any folds to ensure proper contact with the skin.

If the ARC™ cold therapy wrap continues to move from the intended area, you may consider utilizing additional fasteners or straps if they are available. In the event that you are having concerns about temperature control with the ARC™ cold therapy wrap unit, the first thing to determine is whether the device is set to the temperature indicated in the instructions. 

Check that the temperature settings are working by looking for any display errors or malfunctions. Perform a reset, as needed, and the settings will recalibrate.
